Job Description

- Responsible for live Table Games operation of the casino
- Responsible for all table game functions including the inventory of Table Games equipment, dice and cards
- Safeguards company assets located within the department
- Establishes and enforces rules and regulations of the casino that comply with New York State Gaming regulations
- Planning and directing staffing, training, evaluating and development of Table Games personnel
- Forecasting and financial analysis of the department
- Design and institute departmental policies and procedures
- Game trend and analysis
- Plan and manage business growth
- Prepares budget and manages department to maximize revenues and control expenses
- Hire and plan development of departmental staff
- Communicate and ensure consistent enforcement of company philosophies and Human Resources policies
- Effectively handles customer disputes while maintaining the security and integrity of the games and customer satisfaction
- Discretionary ability to extend complementary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix (Match Play)
- Takes an active role in supporting Rivers Casino & Resort compulsive and problem gambling program
- Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and Team Member relations as a priority
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Equivalent to a high school diploma with knowledge of game and dealing techniques. 1-2 years supervisory experience is preferred. College degree preferred
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in casino management, including Shift Manager or higher
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the Table Games industry
- Knowledge of table games math, procedures, game protection, regulations and training requirements
- Knowledge of Table Games, ie: Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat and specialty games
- The ability to motivate staff through a teamwork approach
- Proven leadership skills that include delegating as needed
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and can form quick and productive business relationships with vendors
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with ability to create spreadsheets in Excel
- Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger dexterity, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to identify colors
- Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
Position Summary: Directs the activities of the Table Games Department ensuring compliance with state regulations and Internal Controls, while maintaining a strong culture of guest service and satisfaction
