- Manages the business and operational functions of EH Urgent Care in collaboration with the Executive Medical Director to drive EvergreenHealth success.
- Functions as operations director for designated patient care services at all EH Urgent Care sites of care. Collaborates with physician leaders, the operational management teams, and other departments and services within the organization to achieve the goals and objectives of the EH Urgent Care service line, Evergreen Hospital Medical Center, and the district at large.
- Works withu00A0the EH Urgent Care supervisors and leadership to ensure the clinics are managed appropriately, staffed efficiently with qualified staff to support providers and patient volumes. Responsible for regulatory compliance, budgeting and productivity for all assigned personnel and resources. Exercises functional administrative supervision over professional, technical, service and support staff in assigned departments.
- Leads and facilitates development and integration of multidisciplinary Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance (QA) into department activities and systems.
- Ensures each assigned department meets or exceeds all DOH and JC standards.
- Functions as an effective, results-oriented leader in complex and dynamic environments.
- Accountable for service excellence to maximize customer internal and external satisfaction.
- Works with the EH Urgent Care supervisor and leadership to ensure the clinics are managed appropriately with qualified staff to support providers and patient volumes.
- Establishes a working culture that reflects the vision, mission, leadership principles, and values ofu00A0EvergreenHealth .
- Investigates and maintains a current knowledge of all applicable regulations and standards to ensure EH Urgent Care compliance with the policies and procedures and relevant legal requirements (JC, Medicare/Medicaid, HIPAA, etc.).
- Provides the leadership to develop, direct and implement Performance Improvement initiatives (including Lean systems).
- Develops, initiates, implements and manages organization and business process designs to provide patient centered care and effective and efficient operations.
- Integrates andu00A0aligns revenue and expense management practices to continuously achieve patient satisfaction, revenue, and net margin goals.
- Develops and maintains functional clinic management team.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bacheloru2019s degree in business, healthcare, sciences, or a related field.
- 5 years progressive management experience in applicable healthcare environment
- Demonstrated understanding of financial management and a commitment to the provision of cost-effective healthcare.
- Knowledge and experience with JC, Medicare, State & Federal regulations
- Previous experience in a clinical direct patient care, as well as a physician practice management setting
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build teams, provide team leadership as well as the ability to function as a team member.
- Ability to work independently, to make independent decisions as required; excellent organizational, planning skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington or ability to obtain.
- Certification in nursing leadership or specialty
- Masteru2019s degree (e.g. MBA, MHA) or equivalent experience/training
- Training in quality improvement techniques (Lean or Six Sigma)
- Experience with project management and change management
- Experience managing at least four Ambulatory Clinics including a minimum of two Primary Care clinics

Wage Range: $ 146,078 - $ 233,646 per yearu00A0
