- Manage the US and India-based valuations teams servicing the clients in the NYC client service group.
- Lead and inspire your valuation team members to achieve client and project deliverables, provide superior client service and collaborate with colleagues.
- Establish and drive strong relationships with clients and maintain regular client contact to ensure high client satisfaction levels.
- Manage the audit and due diligence requirements for all clients in the NYC client service group.
- Provide oversight to ensure team compliance with documented valuation control procedures.
- Conduct pricing/valuation analysis across all asset classes, including listed instruments, fixed income, OTC derivatives and private investments.
- Work with clients to establish and apply clients’ valuation policies and procedures for valuation of all investments. Lead communication/coordination with clients serviced by NYC client service team.
- Lever SS&C applications and work with subject matter experts to identify and resolve potential pricing discrepancies to ensure that all investments are valued according to the client’s policies and instructions.
- Interact effectively with other SS&C GlobeOp departments, e.g., Operations, Fund Accounting, to prevent/resolve issues.
- Take accountability for assigned technology enhancement and efficiency projects.
- Work with management and colleagues to evolve workflows and procedures that improve client service efficacy and client experiences.
- Bachelor degree in finance, mathematics, accounting or related discipline. Post graduate degree and/or professional certification, e.g., CFA, FRM preferred. Commensurate experience will be considered.
- 10+ years relevant experience working for financial institutions and/or hedge fund administrator.
- Prior management/supervisory experience is required.
- Substantive knowledge of trade processing lifecycle and industry standard pricing/valuation methods across all asset classes.
- Experience with pricing data and analytics tools, e.g., Bloomberg Professional, ICE/IDC Vantage/360 View
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to cogently explain and discuss financial information/calculations to different audiences
- Ability to initiate and drive multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a strong control environment
- Ability to work under pressure and manage activity with respect to tight client deadlines

NYC: Salary range for the position: $130,000 USD to $185,000 USD. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
