      Global Value Management Director

      Value Management capability is a key part of our commercial routine to shift gears and deliver our top-line growth goals for the next few years.

      This is a unique opportunity to define the overall VM strategy for Carlsberg Group “above market”, develop a capability and action plan, and design the right organization and processes, tools & metrics to deliver profitable top-line growth sustainably.

      What you’ll be doing

      This role is all about maximizing the value of our portfolio of brands and packs and ensuring the right pricing architecture, assortment, promotions, and trading terms are in place.

      Specifically, you will be responsible for:

      • Defining, aligning with stakeholders, and executing the Carlsberg Group above market Value Management strategy and governance model
      • Building a common framework and operating model to develop Value Management capability and make it an integral part of a commercial routine in the markets
      • Embedding Value Management in local commercial planning processes - linking Value Management processes for the rest of the annual cycle and defining relevant meeting structure - including content and stakeholders
      • Institutionalizing Value Management common language as an enabler of customer value delivery across the regions
      • Creating a revenue growth management model beginning with the foundational work of processes, best practices, systems, and data requirements
      • Increasing VM capability across the group on pricing, trade terms, promotions, and assortment
      • Building high-quality pricing strategy and execution to meet VM targets
      • Development and maintain tools for VM and ensure local embedding together with the regional CVPs and CFOSs
      • Identifying capability needs and functionality in the market and ensuring we are delivering enhanced capability to deliver on the Value Management agenda

      What we’re looking for

      You have a great overview and a strategic mindset combined with the sense of the small margins and as a person motivated by going ahead. You like to take the initiative, are proactive and have an open approach to both people and projects. You enjoy working on your own and taking responsibility while understanding the value of networks, key relationships, and teamwork.

      In addition to that, we expect you to have:

      • An extensive experience in a commercial role in FMCG of which +5 years of experience with RGM/Value Management in FMCG and in-depth knowledge of the development of the FMCG category in a proficient market.
      • Experience in Business/Sales Development, Sales, Finance, or Customer/Channel Marketing, experience (preferably in FMCG) appreciated
      • Experience with strategic planning, and execution with documented business results
      • Excellent analytical skills and ability to structure complex business issues
      • Advanced project management skills
      • Proven management experience
      • Excellent communication skills able to influence and persuade up and down a large matrix organization and across different cultures
      • A results-oriented approach with an ability to operate effectively both within a team environment but also as an individual contributor.
