- Develop, drive, and communicate our Financial Services strategy, results, and opportunities to peers and senior executives
- Own and drive top & bottom line for the vertical
- Support in country teams to recruit, motivate and retain a diverse, high-performing sales team to deliver revenue growth targets on the FSI vertical
- Coach and advise on Financial Sector regulation and compliance
- Lead the development of a repeatable and scalable customer acquisition and client success methodology
- Cultivate trusted-advisor relationships with our customers and prospects at all levels. Be an evangelist for Palo Alto’s product portfolio and vertical strategy
- Collaborate with your peers in other vertical markets , as well as partner with other internal sales, marketing and product teams, to support EMEA/LATAM and Global sales opportunities
- Identify and drive internal operational efficiencies to continue to scale this division as well as our holistic Vertical strategy
- Run a disciplined forecast, consistently overachieve on goals, and present guidance to executive management
- 15+ years of technology sales experience and 5+ years in a leadership capacity where you have scaled a team
- Significant experience of enterprise wide sales execution and leadership within the Financial Services business
- Proven track record of driving ambitious sales and GTM results for technical solutions and expanding enterprise customer relationships to new departments and c-suite
- Data-driven methodology and quantitative analytical skills, including pipeline management and forecasting, for a fast-growing business
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong, lasting relationships with clients, external partners, and internal cross-functional teams at all levels, as well as influence their thinking and understanding
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment that is experiencing significant scale

Your Career
The Director, Vertical Sales - Financial Services EMEA & LATAM will lead and accelerate the growth of Palo Alto’s product portfolio across the Financial Services Sector reporting to the VP GTM Sales Acceleration and partnering with senior leaders across the company.
We are seeking a leader who will own and execute on the vision, strategy to grow this vertical. The ideal leader is highly collaborative and comfortable operating across geographical and functional lines to identify and execute on new growth opportunities through direct selling, partner development, business development, strategic partnerships, and marketing. You will be both a mentor and a coach, and will be a great evangelist for Palo Alto’s product portfolio and vertical strategy. For that matter, knowledge of the Financial Sector and related regulations are critical.
