Set ambition and annual, mid to long-term vision for Technical support solutions in the area of Companion Animal Dermatology in International in close cooperation with other commercial colleagues
Maintain strong operational relationships with veterinary teams in market to ensure that market knowledge is continuously being developed and up to date, developing frameworks and processes for alignment across markets
Plan, implement and coordinate above-market Key Opinion Leaders management plans (incl. clinical activities and study grants) for category
Lead international representation and messaging strategy to external scientific and clinical stakeholders (e.g. universities) and at international congresses/fairs
Contribute to content marketing asset development
Lead development of training on technical excellence applicable to category.

- Matrix responsibility – leading internal veterinary colleague networks
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or equivalent degree) required
- Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology or European College of Veterinary Dermatology
- Practical experience as a clinical veterinary dermatologist (min. 5 years)
- Medical marketing of veterinary products to companion animal veterinarians
- Extensive capabilities proven in senior medical marketing role strategic or operationally with extensive medical leadership capabilities gained in highly matrixed organisations.
- Experience leading large scale complex projects and managing / influencing teams in diverse locations
- Operating budget management skills
- Experience working with, leading or influencing cross-functional teams in developing and executing technical strategies, programs and/or tactics.
- Proven track-record of leading teams through transformation and having instilled a strong culture of performance and enthusiasm, even in difficult times.
- Demonstrated track-record of operational excellence with a sharp sense of vision that translates into an ability to identify new opportunities
- Experience in managing relations with a wide diversity of stakeholders including (but not limited to) medical leaders, Enabling and Global functions, customers and senior leaders
- Other specific know-how: Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power point. Basics of clinical studies conduct and evaluation of scientific publications.
- Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English are a must, mastering other languages is a plus.

- Demonstrates ability to own the technical Companion Animal Dermatology space: anticipates new customer needs and technical/scientific trends in the category. Eager to permanently keep up to date with the latest scientific information in the category and to transfer knowledge

Role Summary
The International Center of Excellence is recruiting a board-certified veterinary dermatologist to provide best in-class veterinary medical leadership for the Zoetis dermatology portfolio. This role will work across international markets and work alongside above market teams and other commercial and operational functions to develop strategic plans to ensure our scientific activities create and deliver unparalleled value to our customers and therefore become a major differentiator, create competitive advantage and contribute to the growth objectives of Zoetis’ Companion Animal Dermatology category. The veterinary dermatologist will drive excellence in dermatology across the business and ensure delivery of short-, medium-, and long-term medical support plans in International Operations to meet identified objectives for market development and differentiation of the solutions offered by Zoetis in close alignment with the Category Management Lead.
