Job Description

- Directly responsible and accountable for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the DC and assigned operations.
- Lead, coach and develop the team to foster an environment of proactive team member relations and to maintain a highly motivated work force with fully engaged team members.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships with the stores, District Leaders and Operational RVPs.
- Manage and monitor all safety procedures and ensure that all Team Members foster a safe environment.
- Develop goals and objectives for the team in order to manage team member performance.
- Communicate effectively with all Team Members in order to establish clear direction for the shift and/or operation.
- Manage and communicate production issues with the Department Managers.
- Red Prairie WMS experience.
- Experience with large SKU base inventory, which includes both high and low velocity items.
- Experience with state of the art sorting and handling equipment.
- Experience using equipment (pallet jack, forklift, order picker, reach truck, etc.)
- Must be able to work flexible shifts such as overtime, weekends, holidays.
- Must be able to perform all roles in the DC.
- Experience leading a highly automated distribution center is preferred
- BS/BA education preferred.
- Seven to ten years directly related senior leadership experience in distribution center management and/or training.
