      Disabled Students Programs and Services is currently accepting applications for part-time DSPS Counselors. 1. Master’s degree or equivalent in rehabilitation counseling

      OR

      2. Master’s degree in special education, AND 24 or more semester units in upper division or graduate level course work in counseling, guidance, student personnel, psychology, or social work;

      OR

      3. Master’s degree in counseling, guidance, student personnel, psychology, career development, or social welfare; AND either 12 or more semester units in upper division or graduate level course work specifically in counseling or rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities, OR two years of full-time experience, or the equivalent, in one or more of the following: counseling or guidance for students with disabilities OR counseling and/or guidance in industry, government, public agency, military or private social welfare organizations in which the responsibilities of the position were predominantly or exclusively for persons with disabilities

Adjunct pools remain open throughout the academic year to support ongoing recruitment for departmental assignments and can close at any time.       • Scanned copy of official transcripts showing completion of required degreed. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted only during the application process. Foreign transcripts and degrees require official certification of equivalency to U.S. transcripts and degrees by a certified U.S. review service at the time of application.

      Additional documents not requested in the announcement, will not be reviewed. Those applicants deemed best qualified will be invited to the college for an interview. Applications with incomplete information (i.e. statements such as see resume) or missing documents will not be considered.
