What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, configure, and test disaster recovery plans and procedures for IT infrastructure and applications
- Coordinate and execute disaster recovery tests and drills to ensure readiness and compliance
- Monitor and report on the performance and availability of disaster recovery environment and business continuity systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or incidents related to disaster recovery environment and business continuity systems
- Provide technical support and guidance on the use of IT systems and applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or at least 3 years of experience in IT technical support, disaster recovery, or business continuity
- Relevant certifications in disaster recovery are a plus
- Proven experience in disaster recovery planning, implementation, and management, preferably within an academic healthcare organization
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and network technologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Epic EMR or other healthcare information systems and their disaster recovery requirements
