      The Disclosure Integrity Specialist is responsible for elevated issue resolution, requester rate disputes, requester assignment process, and quality checking of patient documents, invoicing, and other duties related to medical record requests. Responsible for issue resolution related to check processing and daily deposits.

      In person training is required for this position and then the position transfers to work from home.

      TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Perform quality control process on patient documents to verify the correct protected health information is being disclosed in a secured and compliant manner.
      • Produce accurate invoices to requesters.
      • Perform assignment process which includes determining the requesting party, verifying HIPAA compliance, and applying the appropriate rate based on state guidelines.
      • Monitor and address Production related actions on MRO’s ‘Action List.’
      • Process returned mail and redirect as needed.
      • Identify and communicate potential workflow concerns and trends affecting client facilities and MRO processes.
      • Maintain strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and associated rulings.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

      SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
      • Competence with computers. Highly accurate data entry skills and attention to detail.
      • Problem solving skills.
      • Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments.
      • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications.
      • Dependable, good organizational skills and positive teamwork-oriented attitude.
