      Position Summary:

      • The Dishwasher/Dietary Assistant Utility provides aide in the service and sanitation of the hospital's cafeteria, patient services and special functions
      • Responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dishwashing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food supplies.
      • Provides indirect patient care through cafeteria service
      • Strong customer services skills to appropriately interact with coworkers and customers

      Shift:

      Part-time (20 hrs per week)

      Evening shift: 11:00am - 7:00pm

      Weekend Work Required

      Location: Howard County General Hospital,

      5755 Cedar Lane, Columbia, MD 21044

      Education/ Experience

      • High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required
      • One (1) year of relevant food or customer service experience preferred

      Licensure/Certifications:

      ServSafe Certification preferred
