Job Description
- Req#: 560240
- Receives merchandise from all vendors, checks for expiration dates, dented cans, or damaged products.
- Checks order for accuracy and store as needed in dry, refrigerator or freezer, as necessary.
- Rotate merchandise according to the FIFO rule.
- Dishwashers work to take on some janitorial and supportive kitchen tasks, such as tables, washing pot
- and pans and appliances, emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, restocking items, and
- performing other tasks to ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and prepared for
- students.
- Cleans and maintains kitchen clean after production has ended.
- Communicates with Kitchen Supervisor about how to improve meal service.
- Cleans food preparation areas as determined by company policies and Health Department
- Regulations.
- Clean and sanitize working area before start work and after finishing work.
- Be flexible with the schedule for any unforeseen emergencies/circumstances.
