Job Description
JOB DESCRITION SUMMARY
Maintain clean and sanitary environment to include the cleaning of all food prep and service areas, smallwares, and equipment.
This positions takes place at our Cooking School located in the Des Peres Schnucks located at 12332 Manchester Rd, 63131.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Wash all dishes in an effective and efficient manner.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Perform environmental cleaning of tables, floors, walls, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Required Education: Less than a high school education
• Minimum Years of Experience: Less than 1 year
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge
o Knowledge of workplace safety.
o Knowledge of basic food safety principles such as cross contamination and the definition of clean.
o Knowledge of the 3 step technique for dishwashing: wash, rinse, sanitize and storage.
o Sufficient knowledge to run laundry equipment.Skills & Abilities
o Ability to work in a hot humid evironment for 6+ hours.
o Ability to read and interpret schedule.
