Job Description
- Req#: 81054
- Optimise the dispatch of power stations in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium within the delivery day, in line with Intraday markets
- Manage the different balance groups
- Coordinate with station operators to align unavailability on short notice
- Take a high degree of responsibility for financial results
- Execute gas delivery to power stations in close cooperation with CAO Gas
- Ensure the provision and supply of Ancillary services and spinning reserve
- Support continuous development of IT applications with the embedded IT team
- Create a bid-/offer-curve for Intraday Trading
- Take a high degree of responsibility for the security of supply in cooperation with the grid operator in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium
- A successfully completed degree in business, mechanical or electrical engineering, economic sciences with technical knowledge or relevant further qualification from a business training program
- Knowledge of power plant, electrical and financial engineering
- Expertise in the German and Benelux markets
- Insight into energy markets and initial experience working with similar optimisation issues in (international) companies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a high degree of personal commitment, motivation and ability to work independently
- Good English and German language skills
- Willingness to work shifts (full continuous five-shift operation)
