      Our team in Reading currently has an opening for a Dispatcher 3rd Shift

      YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

      Job Summary:

      Dispatches trucks and ensures the dispatch operations process runs efficiently and in a timely manner.

      Description:

      • Dispatching of Brenntag drivers, supporting of all areas of our business including Caustic Soda, Sulfuric acid and other
      • Bulk shipments.
      • Handle all orders assigned to ship on company trucks and 3rd party carriers
      • Manage the day to day operations out of our facilities and our bulk terminals
      • Coordinate shipping appointments and pickups
      • Coordinate with outside warehouses
      • Process driver paperwork
      • Manage receipts & reimbursements
      • Review and file DOT logs
      • Work with customer service
      • Daily Communication of needs, issues, concerns related to customer order
      • Work with materials management
      • Coordinate inbound shipments with Material Management and Production Coordinator
      • Daily communication of needs, issues, concerns related to product management
      • Assist with dispatch office operations
      • Working the dispatch window to direct drivers
      • Work the truck scale
      • Process paperwork as per procedures
      • Other duties as assigned

      YOUR PROFILE

      Education and Experience:

      • 1 – 5 years Chemical industry experience
      • 3 Years of Experience in distribution with a working knowledge of dispatching a fleet of drivers
      • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and bias for action
