      Req#: 1617

      Due to continued growth, we currently have an opening for an experienced Service Dispatcher. The Service Dispatchers will be responsible for answering calls via phone and email from customers requesting service on petroleum equipment. The dispatcher will also create work orders, gather proper paperwork, and determine what service technician to send on the service call.

      Responsibilities:

      • Receive service requests from internal and external customers. Schedule service technicians workloads by utilizing GPS. Dispatch calls in a timely manner.
      • Capture all information from customers and create work orders by inputting information into Astea Software. Work incomplete work orders daily and communicate any needed information/updates with customers.
      • Work with Project Managers to schedule service technicians for construction jobs on a week to week basis.
      • Verify customer credit status before scheduling service.
      • Update customer's portals on status of service calls.
      • Present yourself professionally as a representative of Seneca Companies and be prompt when scheduling service calls.

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum 1-3 years experience in dispatch/call center/ customer service
      • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
      • Organizational skills and the ability to problem solve.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
      • High school education or GED
