Salary Range: 17$ to 19$ hourly
Bailey's Logistics is seeking a results-driven Dispatcher to join our growing operations team. This role is critical in ensuring freight moves efficiently and cost-effectively by sourcing, negotiating with, and dispatching qualified carriers. The Dispatcher will serve as the communication hub between our customers, internal teams, and external carrier partners.

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and secure qualified carriers to haul available loads across various lanes
• Negotiate rates with carriers to maintain profitability while ensuring on-time service
• Maintain constant communication with carriers throughout the lifecycle of each shipment
• Track and monitor shipments to proactively resolve service issues or delays
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to build a reliable network
• Input and update shipment and carrier information accurately in the transportation management system (TMS)
• Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to meet client expectations
• Ensure all loads are covered in a timely manner and escalated when needed
• Verify carrier compliance with Bailey's standards including insurance, safety, and performance
• Additional tasks / projects given by manager depending on needs of the business
Qualifications:
• 1+ year of experience in dispatch, carrier sales, or transportation brokerage preferred
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of industry software and TMS platforms (preferred but not required)
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework or certifications a plus
