Description
The Dispatcher is primarily responsible for coordinating the activities of the Patient Service Technicians and dispatching all outgoing work orders.
- Coordinates and dispatches all outgoing work orders
- Ensures timely completion of assigned work orders
- Monitors all field personnel and establishes equal workloads
- Determines appropriate delivery mode of outgoing supplies and equipment
- Processes all incoming paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Performs quality assurance review of all paperwork to ensure proper ACHC, FDA, DOT and other regulatory compliance
- Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use
- Delivers durable medical equipment to home healthcare patients when required
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred
- One year related experience is preferred
- Must be detail-oriented with good organizational and communication skills
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred
- should have knowledge of Word Processing software
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
