Job Description

- $20.30/hr
- • Maintain an orderly flow of passengers and taxicabs and oversee the movement and expeditious loading of Taxis.
- • Prevent soliciting of customers. z
- • Maintain an orderly taxi line ensuring that all drivers are at the taxi stand line remain within the immediate proximity to their vehicles.
- • Advise customers of rules and regulations pertinent to the trip including the correct fare and meter rates to their destination.
- • Cooperate with Port Authority Police, Airport and/or PABT Supervisors and taxi commission agents in connections with the performance of the dispatcher duties provided herein.
- • Be familiar with, adhere to and enforce Taxi and Limousine commission rules and regulations.
- • When required issue Taxi Dispatcher program violation form against taxi drivers for violation of Taxi and Limousine commission rules and regulations.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten year work history if available
