  Distressed Debt/HY Desk Analyst – Paris

  This is an excellent role for someone who has knowledge of distressed debt analysis in leveraged finance, particularly in high yield bonds.

  About the job:

  We are looking for an analyst with distressed debt experience within the Global High Yield team to make recommendations across sectors and on public and private companies. You will use your analysis and experience to formulate actionable outcomes to the high yield portfolio management team on high yield issuers with heightened credit risk. You will work collaboratively with the credit research and ESG colleagues across Aviva Investors to formulate and underpin security selection recommendations.

  Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in distressed debt analysis particularly in high yield bonds. Candidates with distressed loan analysis experience will be considered.

  • This is an excellent role for someone who has knowledge of distressed debt and restructuring analysis in leveraged finance, particularly in high yield bonds.

  • We are looking for an analyst with distressed debt and restructuring experience within the Global High Yield team to make recommendations across sectors and on public and private companies.

  • The ability to initiate ideas and deliver timely investment recommendations that contribute to superior, risk adjusted results

  • The ability to proactively collaborate and interact with colleagues at Aviva Investors and with external parties

  • Either a relevant degree (economics, finance, accounting, or related discipline) or able to demonstrate a suitable depth of intellectual knowledge and maturity
