Identification of dislocated/fundamentally driven credit trading opportunities
Credit analysis and cash flow modelling of potential or existing issuers/issues
Constant monitoring and management of existing book positions and monitoring the risks
Continuous internal communication to allow the team to manage risk in a timely and accurate fashion
Develop desk franchise with key clients
Interacting with legal advisors and financial advisors
Experience in Credit would be preferable
Extensive knowledge and understanding of fundamental credit, credit liquidity, credit pricing, insolvency law, and process
Detail oriented, inquisitive, and consistently striving for self-education

DPG is a specialised unit within Deutsche Bank’s Global Credit Trading business. DPG is the pre-eminent market maker of securities across the globe engaged in the trading, investment, structuring, and provision of new financing to performing and non-performing companies and markets. The desk primarily trades with large institutional investors. The traders are supported by an integrated team which manages risks and positions the desk well for client demand.
You will be working as a Desk Analyst, who in addition to generating trade ideas and helping traders manage their risks, will also manage the development of members of staff. You will have direct contact with the traders, sales, promote the franchise, run positions, and identify value through education in the various products, systems, and market practice.
