- Focus on application and system architecture by breaking high level technical direction into user stories that can be implemented by the development team
- Lead Software Development teams by providing deep technical knowledge, software design patterns and reusable core components and modules
- Provide hands-on analysis and solutions for solving complex technical issues in performance and scalability
- Define the overall direction and approach for IoT implementations
- Provide technical direction for best practices
- Support activities including business process re-engineering and architecture governance
- Create and update architecture models and technology roadmaps
- Architect and document technology solutions
- Define and document technology standards, practices, and policies in collaboration with other senior technology staff and executives
- Support the project intake process by providing documented architectural analysis
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using Azure and AWS services
- Manage cloud development, migration, and deployment in Azure and AWS environments
- Ensure cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient
- Learn and understand the latest IoT technologies and best practices
- Other duties as assigned or requested
- Experience with programmatic AdTech solutions is highly desirable
- Enterprise / Systems Architecture (data, integration, systems, security, etc.)
- Enterprise class systems development utilizing J2EE or .NET
- Architecture blueprint and Roadmap creation and documentation
- Web Services design and implementation, Object Oriented Analysis & Design expertise
- Enterprise-scale Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) program development
- Enterprise-scale Identity Management (IDM) program development
- Expertise in Modern Software Engineering practices
- Ability to advise and assist senior management sponsors in the practical application of SOA principles in a distributed system environment
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing intricate multi-tier systems with a strong focus on event-driven and service-oriented architectures.
- More than 3 years of experience in architecting technology solutions at the enterprise level for at least a medium-sized organization covering multiple business and technology domains.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Distributed System Architect will play a pivotal role in the engineering of NCM’s core content delivery and playback network. As a key player in shaping the future of our enterprise technology, they collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect and other senior management to craft and refine our technology roadmap. This position requires a wide range of technical abilities from distributed system design and architecture principles to cloud and infrastructure management to security and compliance. The position offers an opportunity to drive innovation and influence the technical direction of the organization. Candidates with strong experience in Programmatic Ad-Tech, Internet of Things, or Content Distribution solutions, will be highly preferred. The person in this role will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of our cinema advertising network as we continue to work toward our cloud-first strategy.

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR COLORADO APPLICANTS:
Salary Range: Base Salary of approximately $160,000 - $175,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
