Responsible for freight- and market-warehousing costing and settlement in the region.
Maintains carrier tariff templates in rate-database for TMS updates.
Monitors the effectiveness regarding carrier performance
Prepares reports and analytics for sourcing-events (transport-tenders), network-reviews and strategic initiatives.
Reports on agreed service- and cost KPIs by geography and BU as well as service-providers (carrier-scorecards)
Key User role for Power-BI applications in distribution for the region
Performs root-cause analysis on service- and/or cost-deviations and proposes solutions
Supports projects by gathering, analysing and processing required logistics data-sets

Within our Global Planning and Logistics organisation we have an exciting position available for a Distribution Analyst UK and Ireland to join us on a 12 month FTC.
About the Role
The Distribution Analyst will be part of the Regional Distribution Management team for the UK and Ireland.
The role is responsible to ensure efficient distribution operations by providing the required financial analytics and power-bi reporting as well as ensuring process- and master-data compliance within a region.
As Distribution Analyst you will work together with fellow DA's in Europe in a valuable learning by experience and sharing analytics community..
Distribution Analyst is key regarding supporting the day to day transport operations, provides key data regarding forecasting and budget as well as supporting strategic initiatives related to all logistic aspects within Essity UK & Ireland.
This full-time position is offered on a hybrid working pattern of up to two days per week working flexibly at home with 3 days office-based in our new offices in Didsbury.
