      As a Distribution clerk, you will be responsible for working effectively and efficiently in performing specified mail deliveries within the Distribution unit. The incumbent is accountable for timely execution of mail deliveries on assigned mail delivery routes and accurate and efficient sorting of mail. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for the delivery of courier packages, and other special or urgent requests.

      Is this role right for you? you will:

      • Be accountable for day-to-day accurate sorting of mail and efficient delivery (physically and electronically) and pick-up of mail for all Scotiabank departments in the downtown Toronto core. This includes external (Canada Post and courier) mail, interdepartmental mail, stationary, records, etc.
      • Assist with special mailings as required.
      • Perform multiple mail delivery routes.
      • Provide excellent customer experience to all our partners.
      • Support other function areas within Distribution Services
      • Ensure service provided is of the highest quality by ensuring that all service level commitments are met or exceeded.
      • Assist with mail scanning and sending mail to clients as required

      Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?- We'd love to work with you if you have:

      • Previous work experience in a mailroom setting
      • Excellent and proven customer service-focused record
      • Proven ability to multitask in a fast paced, high-volume environment
      • Proficient in use of PC and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel

      Working Conditions
      • This incumbent works in a production mailroom environment
      • The position involves lifting to 75lbs at any given time, pushing pallet trucks, two-wheel dollies, packaging mail and material in the servicing of mail routes and fulfillment of service requests

      • This is a position held entirely onsite at 44 King St. West, hours of work are: Monday to Friday, between 8am-5pm (either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
