      SUMMARY

      Analyzes and coordinates rental and commercial fleet orders. Maintains product information for internal and external customers.

      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Takes lead in working with Fleet Operations group to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of tens of thousands of fleet units each calendar year. Provides operational support to triage order issues, perform shipping and product adjustments, and answer order related inquiries.
      • Analyzes rental purchase order requests against available supply across domestic production and five U.S. ports to identify volumes by port location and by account and works with Distribution Operations Manager to facilitate rental order fulfillment. Reviews historical data and Subaru of America (SOA) and industry trends to guide decision-making. Reports on order fulfillment and addresses late issues.
      • Takes lead in working with SBR liaisons and cross-functional partners in Marketing, Advertising, Sales Training, Parts and Accessories, and Connected Vehicles to gather and submit orders for test vehicles under considerable time constraints. Administers and communicates test vehicle tracking data with order holders and provides support for order-related inquiries.
      • Creates and maintains Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) schematics for each carline/model year as translated by Subaru Corporation (SBR). Serves as the liaison to internal and external groups, such as states’ Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMVs) and U.S.-based insurance companies for such data.
      • Analyzes requests for duplicate Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) documents to validate retailer and vehicle sales and registration history in accordance with procedure and motor vehicle agency guidelines. Processes duplicate MCO documents at the request of internal stakeholders. Prepares monthly MCO billing file for submission to Accounting for retailer chargeback and/or credit. Analyzes MCO bill back data to generate reporting and provide insights to Regional Distribution teams quarterly.

      ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Updates and distributes allocation status reporting.
      • Performs ad hoc analysis as requested by Distribution Operations Manager.
      • Serves as backup support for vessel-related processing including bringing in HA30 vessel departure data files via Oracle system, vessel releases, and vessel setup and maintenance.
      • Serves as backup support for Monroney label creation, updates, and reprints.
      • Serves as backup support for inquiries from National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to provide model information upon request.
      • Serves as backup support for distribution-related reporting including New Zone Daily Sales, Global Tracking Number (GTN) Detail, actual and booked (A&B) Report, and Month End Comparison Report.

      REQUIRED SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

      • Strong organizational skills with the ability balance multiple priorities concurrently.
      • Ability to communicate with all levels of Subaru of America (SOA), Subaru Corporation (SBR), and Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) management.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in operating intermediate Excel functions such as pivot tables, lookups, graphing, and conditional formatting.
      • Proficient in other computer programs including Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) and Qlik.
      • Intermediate business analysis and reporting skills.
      • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
      • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
      • Understanding of process improvement practices.

      EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 4-6 years' experience

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      • Lift up to 25 lbs
      • Prolonged sitting at desk and working on computer.

      COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $55800 - $79700 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
