Description

The purpose of this position is to be the primary support in processing and monitoring inbound receiving and outbound store shipments for Distribution and managing the startup and final daily distribution operational needs. This includes detailed planning, coordinating, and communicating with managers, vendors, and distribution associates.

Required Qualifications

• be able to successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills tests (before his or her start date in the position)

• have six months of Distribution or office experience

• have knowledge of SAS, DALLAS, Infor, Marwood, Host and TDPS (Driver Performance) and
• have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access.

• current Atlanta Distribution associate
• have one year of Distribution or office experience

Hours of Work

Start Times will vary from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm and End Times will vary as from 12:30 am - 2:30 am; Rotating Schedule

Work Environment

Temperatures could range from 75 degrees to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in December. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.

Other Compensation Information

• Night differential: A $.75 per hour night differential is paid to associates regularly scheduled to work any hours between midnight and 3:00 a.m. (this does not include shifts that end at midnight or begin at 3:00AM).

• Weekend differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
