What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, designers, specialists, and stakeholders
- Manage transmission and distribution projects, ensuring cost-effective and timely completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Identify and manage project risks
- Serve as the prime interface with clients and other stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree in engineering or relevant professional qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in power/utilities/energy projects
- Knowledge of power/energy engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in industry scheduling systems (MS Project, Primavera)
- Strong skills in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Experience in developing project execution plans and budgets
- Ability to prepare proposals for clients
- Effective communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Transmission and distribution/Hydro experience is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in sustainable engineering and design
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies
- Project management certification (PMP)
