Job Announcement
District Accounts Payable Clerk
The position for a District Accounts Payable Clerk will be available immediately at East Central ISD. All individuals (district employees included) who are interested in this position must apply online through Frontline via the district website. The deadline for submitting an application is until the position is filled.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist in accounts payable of the District funds.
2. Assist in distributing district purchase orders.
3. Provide clerical support for the Business Department.
4. Post journal entries and cash receipts to the general ledger.
5. Assist in internal control of district funds.
6. Maintain assorted files in a network computer environment.
7. Assist in 1099 forms.
8. Maintain W9 and CIQ forms for all district and campus vendors.
9. Assist in District audit.
10. Ensure confidentiality of files and all other matters pertaining to the Business Department.
11. Reconciliation of vendor statements.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Computer proficient in Excel & Google.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable processing preferred.
EQUIPMENT USED: Computer, printer, calculator, typewriter, FAX machine, and copier.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions to meet established deadlines. Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; occasional reaching. Occasional light lifting and carrying (up to 45 pounds). May work prolonged or irregular hours. Normal office environment.
PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: 226 day basis
SALARY: Paraprofessional Pay Grade 303
