      Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.


      Charter One is now accepting applications for a District Athletic Director.


      Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

      • Provides administrative leadership in planning, implementation, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of interscholastic athletic programs for the middle and high schools
      • Coordinate all district level athletic programs
      • Manage relationships with State Athletic Association
      • Main point of contact for all athletic related vendor contracts
      • Assist in training for campus level athletic directors and athletic support staff
      • Provide professional development for campus athletic directors, coaches, and support staff
      • Ensure processes and procedures and created and implemented to assist campuses in compliance with school, district, and state associations rules and regulations
      • Approve all athletic purchases, verifying compliance with marketing standards, NFHS rules, and that approved vendors are being used


      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
      • Applicable licenses/certifications as outlined by School and AIA requirements
      • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a job-related field
      • Previous experience in athletic administration
