      The Opportunity

      The District Nurse Manager Integrated Virtual Care Services is responsible for the planning and implementation of delivery of Virtual Urgent Care Service for Mid North Coat Virtual Care. The position works closely with Medical Leadership to lead the delivery of excellent patient and family centred Virtual Urgent Care.
      About You

      Do you hold a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and have extensive relevant post registration Nursing experience in a relevant clinical area? Do you have broad operational management knowledge and skills at a senior level that can demonstrate an ability to effectively coordinate service activities. Someone who has excellent organisational, analytical and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to facilitate professional standards and competence of nursing staff.       The Organisation

      The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) is a government funded health organization that covers an area of 11,335 square kilometers extending from Port Macquarie in the south to Coffs Harbour in the north. MNCLHD provides a diverse range of services to a population of approximately 215,000 people. It has a workforce of 4,694 across seven hospitals sites and 12 Community Health Centres.

      A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.

      1. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and Extensive relevant post registration Nursing experience in a relevant clinical area.
      2. Broad operational management knowledge and skills at a senior level within a relevant setting that demonstrate an ability to effectively coordinate service activities.
      3. Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including highly developed ability to consult, negotiate and delegate effectively with a diverse range of people.
      4. Demonstrated ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the service are managed, within a defined budget, to deliver safe and efficient health care.
      5. Comprehensive understanding of Virtual Care and Urgent Care Services.
      6. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of nursing professional and management issues with highly developed and effective management and conflict resolution skills and the ability to facilitate professional standards and competence of nursing staff.
      7. Excellent organisational, analytical and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of services.
      8. Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel as required.
