Job Description
- Req#: JR40533
- Coordinate and consult with Project Coordinator to ensure smooth running CNSP project activities at the project site.
- Organize partners meetings with DFCDR and provincial level and with District Health Team for project activities awareness and implementation.
- Coordinate & mobilize the resources and requirements of the project activities
- Monitor and document project implementation and make recommendations as appropriate to M & E Officer and Provincial Project coordinator.
- Contribute in developing training materials to suite the need, local context and language.
- Assess and provide support to the Department of Community Development and Religion (DfCDR) and local leaders through regular on-site supervisory and advisory visits to enhance partners and community’s competence
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners (DFCDR, CommDEV workers), district and local level government, local organizations and community groups
- Promote open discussions with community leaders to evaluate.
- Provide monthly statistical reports on-time
- Provide monthly progress reports, assist in compilation of quarterly, biannual, annual and end of project report
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree or college qualification in social work, agriculture, economics and business, health and public health. Preferably social sciences
- Certificate in community development background
- At least 2-3 years of experience in implementing projects engaging various stakeholders/partners.
- Experience in partners engagement and networking
- Experience in working with Provincial and District Government Offices
- Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing
- Experience in Community mobilization and leadership role
- Experience in community development as a background
- Basic understanding of project management cycle principles
- Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a high standard of English.
- Good networking and partnership development skills
- Sound knowledge in PNG Government systems and programs
- Computer literate
- Communication, advocacy & facilitation skills
- Expression of interest
