      Our Diversity Equity Inclusion Director supports this work by collaboratively defining and implementing Intermountain's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) strategy, action plans, goals, and organizational benchmarks.

      The Diversity Equity and Inclusion Director will provide operational support to teams involved in DEI initiatives, monitor DE&I goals and benchmarks, and offer strategies to senior leadership to ensure accountability, partner with Talent Acquisition to update the staff recruitment and retention plan with a goal of increasing participation from all communities at all levels of the organization. Curate a curriculum for developing leadership and caregivers on leading and engaging in diverse teams to create a highly engaged work environment and enhance the patient/member experience and outcomes. The Diversity Equity and Inclusion Director will develop and implement caregiver (employee) resource group strategies that align with organizational goals.

      The Diversity Equity Inclusion Director will develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of diversity goals implemented and prepares regular reports to senior management on the value of the initiative, keep current on diversity programs and developments by maintaining contact with others in the field (e.g., professional association and educational groups, and professional development efforts), and will collaborate with Office of Patient Experience and Community Health on initiatives to improve health equity.

      Remote applicants will be considered. There will be travel expectations throughout Intermountain's seven-state footprint (UT, ID, NV, CO, KS, WY, MT) for this role. Currently, we are not hiring remote workers in the following states: CA, HI, IL, PA, RI, WA.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Demonstrated related human resources, DEI, or other closely related experience, including preparation and implementation of training materials and diversity initiatives

      • Demonstrated management-level experience.

      • Experience managing employee resource groups (ERG's)

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Graduate/master's degree in human resource management, business or public administration or closely related field

      • Three or more years of management-level experience

      • Experience leading strategic initiatives for an enterprise

      • Demonstrated experience with equity-related data and goals (e.g. building dashboards, analyzing results)

      • Strong public speaking skills

      Physical Requirements:

      Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.

      With this position, you are eligible to participate in the Annual Pay for Performance (AP4P) Plan. This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. The AP4P award opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary. Awards are paid out based on attainment of selected Board-approved goals.

      The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

      $57.18 - $154.38
