Job Description
- Req#: 85676
- Works as part of the team in Cost Accounting and related functions following company policy and GAAP. Follows and implements cost accounting and internal control procedures within general company policy.
- Responsible for generating and distributing weekly reports to review with management to help improve accuracy and quality of monthly product line reporting.
- Collaborates with teams to ensure reports are meeting needs and are being generated in a timely and easily digestible manner.
- Assists Month End Close process including: journal entries, inventory reporting, reconciliation, and other necessary tasks.
- Assists with auditing requests and walkthroughs, for both Internal and External Audits.
- Maintains standards and transfer prices for non-Dale Vishay product lines.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred
- Power Query experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, Outlook, and mainframe systems a plus

Where You’ll Work & The Scope:
Vishay Columbus, NE is currently seeking a Full Time Division Cost Accountant responsible for supporting management with consolidated reports and analysis concerning sales, costs and profit and loss. This includes operational financial reporting, sales, bookings, inventories, pricing, manufacturing OH budgets, labor and material reporting, profit planning and cost variance analysis.
