The Division Director of Facilities will support the Vice President of Facilities, Facilities Management and Sr. Vice President’s, Operations and Regional Directors of Operations in achieving established business goals through commitment to the Sunrise Vision and Mission. The Division Director of Facilities is responsible for providing support to the communities via remote support and cluster coordination to ensure regulatory and Sunrise policy compliance. Division Director of Facilities are also responsible for assisting with the growth & development of Area Facilities Managers.RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed below: Financial & Operational Support• Support assigned SVP of Operations in achieving established goals in the areas of resident safety, financial review and assist in facility related capex planning• Coordinate community visits as required• Document findings on community visit report and disseminate results to appropriate community, corporate, and area leadership.• Works with Area Facilities Manager to ensure communication from CSO is delivered, assist as subject mater expert as needed. Provide guidance as required to their assigned Area Facilities Managers• Support Sunrise Senior Living communities through their assigned Area Facilities Managers for compliance to all life safety codes and applicable federal, state and local regulations, policies and standards (i.e., OSHA, ADA, NFPA, Clear Air Act, EPA, etc.).• Support Area Facilities Managers and other Leadership personnel with technical support/resolution of building system issues.• Assist with the construction coordination process.• Identify opportunities for reduction in utility expenses and provide input relative to the development and implementation of energy conservation programs.• Provide strategic input into Operations and CapEx budget processes when requested.• Work closely with ownership groups in the continuance of their ESG initiatives Technical Support• Evaluate and make appropriate recommendations for new technologies, systems, materials, finishes and criteria for new communities• Participate in special projects, task forces to develop and implement product and service improvements to residents and team members or value improvements to Sunrise Senior Living• Assist corporate CSO personnel with new program and policy & procedure development• Work with the Purchasing department to review and evaluate products and service contracts for new and existing communities CapEx Planning and Support• Assist communities through their assigned Area Facilities Managers in managing certain infrastructural CapEx projects• Assist their assigned Area Facilities Managers to ensure that proper capex plans will be loaded into the TELS platform Training• Participate in the education and training of Facilities team members through Cluster Meetings, conference calls and writen communication• Ensure Operations Team has access to and understanding of current Facilities Management policies, procedures, and best practice documents Supervision• Complete all required performance reviews and paperwork for subordinate team members.• Provide assistance, direction, coaching and counseling for subordinate team membersABOUT SUNRISE
