ROWPU Operater

The ROWPU Operator plays a crucial role in the KBR DJBOSS project, specifically for the US Navy base, by overseeing the operation of water treatment plant machinery and equipment.

The primary objective is to purify and clarify water for both human consumption and industrial use.

The responsibilities include:

• Equipment Operation and Control: Operate and control electric motors, pumps, and valves to precisely regulate the flow of water into the treatment plant.
• Chemical Treatment: Administer specified amounts of chemicals into the water or adjust automatic devices to ensure the introduction of precise chemical quantities for water disinfection, deodorization, and clarification.
• Filtration Process: Regulate water flow through filter beds to effectively remove impurities, employing valves to maintain optimal filtration conditions.
• Distribution Management: Monitor panel boards and adjust controls to regulate flow rates, ensuring the efficient distribution of treated water through the mains.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular testing of water samples to assess and record data on residual chemical content and water pressure.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine cleaning of tanks and filter beds to uphold operational standards. Undertake maintenance tasks, including the repair and lubrication of machinery and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operating and maintaining water treatment plant equipment.
• Familiarity with the use of chemicals for water treatment.
• Proficient in monitoring and adjusting control panels.
• Ability to conduct water quality tests and record accurate data.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures for machinery and equipment.

• Must be fluent in English.
• Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
• Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
