What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support and assistance to beneficiaries of the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) per DMDC Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Respond to customer inquiries, utilizing knowledge and available systems to make independent decisions
- Actively listen to customers, ask probing questions, and provide clear and thorough direction and information
- Research and process inquiries and complaints from Military Service Members
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching answers, and implementing solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Customer focus and excellent customer service skills
- Strong data entry and listening skills
- Effective verbal communication and relationship-building abilities
- Problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
- High School Diploma
- RAPIDS Certification (Certification occurs during on-board training)
- Security Requirement: Public Trust/NA CLC
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Familiarity with mainframe databases and research techniques
- Interpersonal savvy and strong people skills
