      Overview

      Dock Hand

      A dock hand performs a variety of tasks to assist boaters and ensure smooth operations at the Marina.


      Responsibilities

      • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
      • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
      • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service
      • Docks boats properly.
      • Insures cleanliness of the docks.
      • Communicates with the boaters in professional manner.
      • Reports all incidents and abnormalities to the Marina Operations Supervisor.
      • Performs marina related duties as required.

      Qualifications

      • Must be able to swim and have general knowledge of lifesaving techniques
      • High school diploma preferred
      • Minimal experience in marina operations
      • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
