  Basic purpose

  With general supervision and regular review of work status from Supervisor, move packaged materials into semi-trailers for over-the-road shipment. “Regular and Predictable” attendance is required. Availability to work overtime is required. Driving material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment that can become congested with other equipment and pedestrians at times.

  Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Based on routing information, load material safely into semi-trailers. Secure material into trailer to avoid damage in transit.
  • Confirm and document that all material on order is combined into shipment. Submit completed documentation to billing.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area by putting away all unused materials, tools and removing scrap or waste from the workplace.

  Education & Experience Requirements

  • Some hands-on experience in a distribution center or manufacturing facility. The ability to operate material handling equipment.
