Job Description
- Req#: 15106
- Supports the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS); ensures proper approvals are obtained and records are in order.
- Reviews, releases, and maintains ISO and QMS controlled documents.
- Labels, sorts, and categorizes documents for ease of use and retrieval.
- Collaborates with and trains others to create, maintain and effectively use controlled documentation to ensure consistency of documentation practices across systems.
- Provides ongoing support for continued improvement. This includes, but is not limited to, reference documents, policies, standards, procedures, process flows, and records.
- Ensures documentation integrity, controls access to documents, and removes documents when obsolete.
- Proofreads documents by request.
- Administrates and coordinates document and record control systems and internal quality systems.
- Utilizes storage software and applications for electronic filing.
- Retrieves documents on request to support audits and verifications.
- Performs administrative functions within Viega Intranet. Designs, creates, and updates content of QA Intranet pages and spaces.
- Assists with the training of new users or new modules.
- Ensures all content is correct, relevant, and visually appealing.
- Provides regular status updates to internal customers through the Intranet and email.
- Assists with both internal and external audits.
- Supports compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Reports any observed non-conformance issues to proper personnel.
- Supports quality projects and improvement workshops as needed and/or required.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
- Will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Forms, and Power Automate
- Basic knowledge of math and statistics in order to compute measurements and perform studies
- Knowledge of quality control and management systems
- Knowledge of process mapping and process improvement
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to observe details and advocate for continuity of the QMS
- Ability to lead others
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work independently
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of related work experience
- Manufacturing exposure
- ISO experience
- 20 credit hours earned through a college/university
- Quality experience
- ASQ CQIA Certificate

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
