PURPOSE:
Maintain project register using Aconex. Maintain a current project filing system which will be accessible to Worley / Client / Suppliers / Contractors. Provides support to Document Control team in Global Delivery Center (GDC) and Project Engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the implementation and management of the Aconex system necessary to facilitate control of project documentation, archiving and handover ;
• Develop and maintain Aconex system documentation, flow charts and related materials which reflect the ongoing activities of the project;
• Work with document control staff in our Global Delivery Center (GDC)
• Responsible for ensuring that all project documents are delivered with quality in a timely fashion;
• Liaises with department managers and project manager and other persons as required;
• Responsible for compliance dictated by client and Worley regarding maintenance, archiving, and handing over of related documentation;PLANNING RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Aconex training to employees to ensure overall understanding;
• Provide updates to senior management regarding status of any internal, client, or project issues and continuous improvement requirements;
• Create and maintain project documentation procedures and instructions;
• Responsible for handing over in a timely manner all required documentation to the client.DECISION MAKING

• Exercises considerable judgement and initiative in the management of Aconex system. Fully competent in making strategic decisions and resolving escalated issues.What You Will Bring
Advanced knowledge of Aconex, processes and procedures.
Ability to create and Stewart procedures governing document control in a project environment.
Advance knowledge of engineering terminology and ability to read and understand information on drawings and documentation is essential
Advance understanding on revision structures and status purposes
Grade 12 or equivalent. Post-secondary diploma would be an asset
Formal education/certification in Records and Information Management
Technical experience and understanding of the life cycle of engineering documentation.IT SKILLS:
Competent use of Aconex, including Packages/Workflows/Supplier Documents Modules
Advance knowledge and use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
Advance knowledge of Windows Explorer directory structures
Experience with various electronic file formatsPEOPLE SKILLS:
