What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and manage equipment files using a computerized maintenance management system
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of all equipment information and generate related reports
- Initiate and manage preventive maintenance work orders and schedules
- Develop supporting documents for the equipment management department
- Provide training and mentoring to volunteers and staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Strong math, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, Access)
- Ability to work independently and within a team, meeting milestones and deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a maintenance management role or related field
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a humanitarian context
- Additional certifications in maintenance management or related areas
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle physical tasks as required by the position
