Areas of Responsibility As a Documentation Associate, you will work within the Group Process Development team. The Documentation Associate’s primary responsibilities are developing, writing, and revising printed and digital documentation, such as manufacturing instructions, quality instructions, drawings, and test protocols and reports. You will review, evaluate, and generate documents for non-conforming materials along with coordinate and oversee documentation, as well as performing the final review, edits, and proof reading prior to routing for approval. Project Management You will be responsible for creating and supervising project plans by setting milestones, identifying required documents, ensuring each team is informed of critical dates, securing team members’ availability for specific dates, and informing stakeholders of project status. Communication Good communication skills are important to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders about document requirements, updates, and changes. Problem Solving You will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues that arise. This will include taking action to solve the problem by generating ideas for the solution, finding out the reasons behind the problem, and implementing the solution. Performance Objectives Within your first 6 months, you will be responsible for learning about our company, contributing to various projects and leading project management initiatives. During your first 30 days, you will: Learn about Applied’s mission and vision and take part in a variety of Applied Learning foundational courses. Discuss your goals and expectations with your team leader(s) and read and review all relevant team resources and materials. Immerse yourself in team meetings and discussions. Exhibit a strong technical understanding of the product line(s) and/or projects Support team meetings and agendas. Take on one or more projects that require low to moderate guidance. Within 60 days, you will: Develop interpersonal connections and relationships with others to effectively accomplish project objectives and deliverables. Lead moderate to complex projects with minimal guidance or direction. Within 90 days to 1 year, you will: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Applied’s Quality Management System and effectively troubleshoot challenges or obstacles that may affect project timelines. Handle a variety of projects on your own. Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes: Associate Degree or above Efficient organizational capabilities Exceptional written and oral communication skills, particularly in writing, editing and proofreading Able to self-manage and work successfully as independent contributor Administrative support experience Proficient in MS Office programs like Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), as related to document requirements Inside this Business Group The Group Process Development team is responsible for support of the manufacturing processes for their respective product families. They help with concept development, product testing, prototyping, feasibility testing, and design for manufacturing. They ensure that the manufacturing components and procedures are designed and validated to meet the company's performance, value, quality, and cost requirements. This involves collaborating with other teams including, but not limited to, Quality Systems, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Development.
