What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and provide crisis intervention over the phone
- Connect with individuals experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Build rapport and engage clients effectively
- Assess risk and document information during calls
- Provide necessary resources and develop safety plans for clients
- Perform emergency interventions as required
- Remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or MA or MS in behavioral health with a clinical practice emphasis from an accredited program
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in Kansas and hold one of the following licenses: LPC, LMSW, LCPC, or LSCSW

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or telephonic counseling in a healthcare-related setting
