What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to patients, guarantors, payers, and payees
- Assist with appeal management for claim denials in collaboration with healthcare providers and patients
- Advocate for product-specific coverage by working with physicians and payers
- Monitor drug coverage policies for multiple payers and analyze payment trends
- Conduct external research to identify alternate funding sources for internal resource database
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to pick up equipment from Irving, TX
- Proven experience in medical claims processing or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and billing practices (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
- Proficiency with medical billing software and MS Office Suite
- Great work attitude and willingness to help others
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Call center experience is preferred but not required
