Job summary
This is an ideal opportunity to begin a career in the NHS at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You will have a chance to work for one of the Trust's largest services, Domestic Services, which employs approximately 1300 staff and is part of the Trust's Facilities directorate.
The Team Leader posts are based in 2 sites within our Community Domestic team at Manor Clinic & Central Health Clinic. CAR DRIVER / OWNER IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE. Travel around Community sites is involved and will be reimbursed as travel expenses.
The vacancy will be full time, Monday to Friday. Hours will be flexible to provide cover for the Domestic team onsite. More information on hours available on request.
Main duties of the job
The post will require leading a team of Domestics and also providing support to the Community Supervisor across Community. It will require to undertake a range of domestic duties, for example maintaining a high standard of cleanliness using modern cleaning methods and machinery. There is a requirement to attend cleaning requirements of bodily fluids and barrier cleaning when required and training new staff members.
New starters to Domestic Services roles will undergo training on work methods and protocols etc. before starting on their actual areas and also be required to attend any relevant training for updates for existing or new methods or machinery etc.
