Train end users at victim service agencies - Develop and provide group and one-on-one training sessions.
Create and/or maintain training curricula, data collection tools, and supporting materials.
Resolve end user support issues and triage unresolved technical issues.
Operate and maintain user support system, including by phone and email.
Collect, summarize, and track user needs and concerns.
Create and maintain user access rights and privileges; monitor usage of software licenses.
Gather and collate confidentiality and necessary User Agreements.
Attend service provider meetings as needed to communicate data quality needs, field questions and concerns. Develop and disseminate communication materials for end users (newsletter, emails, and web postings).
Participate in ongoing data collection improvement with data team members.
Distribute data quality reports to end users, setting deadlines and monitoring progress toward correcting deficiencies in data.
Investigate inconsistencies and inaccuracies; consult with team members, plan and carry out resolutions.
Troubleshoot data problems with internal staff and external users.
Identify training needs based on data quality issues, and train or retrain users, as needed. Incorporate identified issues into curricula for future training.
Work with team members to review data and ensure data integrity
Work with agency staff to resolve data entry issues related to reports.
Run reports for program staff, managers, and agency end users.
Assist with data entry as needed.

One (1) year of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. (Equivalency 2-3 years of qualifying training and/or experience).

The Opportunity:Multnomah County Department of County Human Services is pleased to announce an open competitive recruitment for a Domestic Violence Data Technician in the Youth and Family Services Division. This full-time position is located in Downtown Portland, 209 SW 4 Ave, Portland OR 97204. This position is scheduled as routine telework Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1 hour lunch. All employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations.
The eligible list created from this recruitment may be used to fill future regular, limited duration, or temporary positions within the Department.
About the Position: The purpose of this position is to provide training and technical support to end users of the WellSky Comp Site, a data collection system for programs funded by the Domestic and Sexual Violence Coordination Office and the Domestic Violence programs at the Joint Office of Homeless Services. This will include developing an overall understanding of these programs and data collection requirements, as well as a thorough understanding of the unique data management requirements for people being served by victim service providers.
The person in this position interacts frequently with a diverse group of end users who have varied experience and comfort with technology. This position will be responsible for delivery of group and one-on-one training; technical support and troubleshooting over the virtually, via email, and in person; development of training curricula, materials, and data collection tools; assisting with quality assurance of reports; and cleaning and entering data.
