      The Annual Giving Donor Experience Officer (DXO) is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the experience of Spelman College’s donors and prospects. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, ensuring their contributions are acknowledged and valued, and fostering a culture of philanthropy within the organization. The DXO will work closely with the Annual Giving and Alumnae Engagement teams to further the overall mission of Spelman College and the Division of Institutional Advancement.
      This role will actively engage and manage a rolling portfolio with a minimum of 1,000 current, lapsed, and prospective donors, refreshed quarterly. This DXO will cultivate relationships with donors through digital communication, phone, social media, video conferencing, texting, and other virtual platforms. They will leverage these tools to build rapport, steward and solicit donors in a donor-centric, targeted, high-velocity manner. This position will coordinate efforts and serve as a liaison between the Office of Leadership and Planned Giving, and Alumnae Engagement.
