      DPT Operations Administrator Description:


      South College is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized DPT Operations Administrator to join our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program team. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day student management and administrative operations. The DPT Operations Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining academic records, managing compliance documentation, supporting licensure processes, and collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and students.


      Responsibilities

      • Maintain and manage student academic records, rosters, and advising documentation.
      • Ensure compliance with FERPA and institutional policies regarding student records.
      • Monitor and track student performance data, including GPA trends, retention rates, and licensure pass rates.
      • Support students through the state licensure and NPTE preparation process.
      • Coordinate communication and data reporting with the South College Registrar.
      • Assist with program orientation, on-site lab immersions, and graduation planning.
      • Manage electronic databases and support tracking systems to streamline program reporting needs.
      • Prepare correspondence, meeting agendas, and minutes.
      • Process student withdrawals and update program records accordingly.
      • Provide administrative support to department directors and assist in department events.

      Additional Expectations:

      • Participation in DPT faculty/staff meetings, student events, and community service activities.
      • Serve on college and program committees as appropriate.
      • Engage in at least one professional development activity annually and maintain an annual accomplishments portfolio.
      • Represent South College and the DPT Program professionally and positively.

      Requirements

      Education

      • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent administrative experience in a service-oriented setting.

      Experience

      • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 360 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management tools.
      • Experience working with academic/student information systems (Canvas, CampusVue) preferred.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
      • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
      • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
      • Familiarity with correct business correspondence formats and professional document preparation.
