- AutoCAD experience
- Candidate must be detail oriented, well organized, and enjoy a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Candidate should be a team player and eager to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Candidate is legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
- Knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is beneficial
- Good background in mathematics
- Experience working with scales
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with additional CAD software: MicroStation, AutoDesk Inventor & Electrical toolsets, Revit, Fusion 360, etc.

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
POWER Engineers is currently seeking a highly motivated student for a drafting Internship to work in the Power Delivery Substation Department in our Boise, ID office (please note this is an in-office position). Under the guidance of experienced staff, the successful candidate will support the drafting work on low to extra-high voltage utility substations, which include physical layout drawings as well as schematics and wiring diagrams.
In addition to working under the guidance of experienced team members, the selected intern will also participate in sessions designed to develop your skills and provide networking opportunities. Those sessions include:
