- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drainage systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Clear blockages and debris from drains to prevent flooding and ensure smooth water flow.
- Perform minor repairs and installations.
- Review Position Agreement for monthly expectations.
- Lead setting for Water Heaters, Water Filtration, Sewer Laterals and Home Re-pipe jobs.
- Complete all tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards and city plumbing requirements.
- Perform diagnostic repair service calls in accordance with company standards.
- Serve clients by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedule, investigating complaints, conducting tests, and resolving problems.
- Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering, and gathering components and parts and performing acceptance tests.
- Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information.
- Keep company issued tools, vehicle and equipment clean, operable and up to date.
- Document work is performed in accordance with company procedures for accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and participate in ongoing training programs to update knowledge of current plumbing and industry standards.
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions.

- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor/manager.
Completion of Champions University Build a Drain Clearer course.
Contractor State License Board – Home Improvement Salesperson License
- Understanding of City Plumbing Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Understanding of City Plumbing Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to fluently speak, read, write in the English language.
- Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of the business.
- Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience
- A criminal background check and drug test will be run after receiving a conditional offer.
- Service Titan experience preferred
- Individuals must be able to deadlift 90 pounds to a height of at least three feet. This includes lifting and carrying materials required to fulfill the responsibilities of a Drain Clearing Technician (DC1). This may include but it is not limited to items such as water heaters, and associated tools.

No previous plumbing experience is necessary for this position, but is sure doesn’t hurt! We are hiring for attitude and training for skill. When you join our team, you go through a paid technical training program in our Champions University training center.
Experience with heavy customer service, sales, solar, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, auto mechanic, labor or landscaping—transfers well to this entry level position.

Responsibilities
The successful team member will have a thorough knowledge of residential drain clearing concepts. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently, have great attention to detail, have exceptional communication skills, and be able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial for maintaining the functionality of drainage systems by performing routine inspections, clearing blockages, and ensuring proper residential water flow. This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position, with additional earning incentives. This is a full-time position with overtime. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the person is frequently required to move about a clients’ homes inside tight crawl spaces and ascend/descend ladders lifting one’s own body weight through narrow entrances into attics. Must be able to identify and inspect equipment, parts, and colored wiring to safely test, repair, and install electrical connections with precise hand-eye motor skills.
Mental Demands: Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions as well as deal with adversarial confrontations. Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. Conscious attention to detail is required to safely perform tasks.
Work Environment: Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, sharp objects, poisonous animals, etc. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy.
